(Reposted) Tempus, we see what the problem is, and its not really a problem. When you try to pull up a post from a thread that is in a retired or archived topic, it disrupts the whole balance of the boards. The search wants to give you what you are requesting, but some of these old messages are no longer a part of the activity by choice of administration. It's the same way all these sites work. The only difference is that this one is very active, and the content moves quicker than the boards with less posting. If you try to pull up old threads or posts and are not successful, there's a reason. It means that particular post is no longer available. It may stay long enough for reference - read only, but it is not available for posting. You might be able to copy it and paste it in a new post as a reference but that's it. End of. Start a new thread. Problem solved.
