It's May! It's May! The Lusty Month of May! Sorry you're chilly and wet, England. We're having cool days today and tomorrow but the rain is over, Thank Goodness!

bright sunny morning after a rather cold night with a light frost
if things are happening in your garden it would be good to hear about them

Not this week, mouse but maybe next week. I simply have not had time to enjoy spring for the past few days. All is good, just busy busy busy. The days coming up will be busy, too, but I have promised myself at least one day for savoring the season.
Made pies this morning, peach and apple. Used Splenda for the peach because one of those goes to my daughter whose husband is diabetic. As near as I can tell, there is no difference at all in the taste.

"Always darkest before the dawn" ... and it's a very dark, very quiet Sunday morning .. the week after Easter. It's coolish with a promise of warm (mid-70s F) temperatures later in ther day. Not a bird is twittering. Rain is hovering above the trees ... due in an hour or slightly more. Time to go to sleep and let the day invent itself.
Later.

Sounds like a shopping trip to me. At least the Garden Center stop. We had rain with a little bit of thunder but it was passing through and on down the road as I was going to sleep. Now, it's sunny and warm. Excellent spring day. A few of us are going out to Sunday brunch in a few minutes. Back before long, though. I have a couple of threads I want to put up. Hope everyone is enjoying the day.

Mouse, I felt sure you'd come back with things from the garden center.. Enjoy! Good one, Sugi. I almost wish I could trade places with kitty-of-the-day at the moment.
