OK. This is terrific. The Fab 4, in Munich in '66. Live.
Ringo is stuck up the back with half a drum kit. I didn't realise Lennon was taller than the others. You know the one who's doing his best to sell the song and the performance? Sir Paul.
Jeez, I'd love to sit with that guy for even 10 minutes and talk music.
Anyway. Enjoy

Here's a little ripper with Paul front and centre
This is a terrific song and this video has lots of photos of the early Beatles that I've never seen. I really like the one where Lennon rests his head on McCartney's head. I guess that was before the jostling to be the leader began.
Anyway.
Enjoy Michelle.

Now, this is amazing. Sweden I'm guessing. 1963. The audience don't know who they are at the start and they clap along. But watch towards the end behind McCartney. There's a guy in the audience who recognises greatness and look at his face!
This clip is amazing. It's early live Beatles and you can actually hear the harmony. They're on the verge of superstardom and they bow to the audience at the end. This is awesome!

This is one of the Beatles' songs you just listen to and sing.
We've got some seriously good and rare Beatles' stuff on this page already.
Too sweet.

Gabe, I'm enjoying your clips and commentary. Here's one I found very interesting. It's a CBS news special report from 1994, paying tribute to 30 years since The Beatles first arrived in the U. S. . I guess that would now be 46 years this past January

Thanks for the clip beth. An interesting look back at what a phenomenon they were. You're liking the clips? I'm glad. I sort through a fair few before I find the one I think is right. It's this increased download.
Anyway, a bit more on McCartney and Harrison's relationship. Sibling rivalry rears its head.

I think this is right at the top of my Beatles faves. It's just great.

Again, another rare one.
The Loser
Paris, 1965, live.
It's a pretty poor quality vid but the best I could find.
I bet you've never heard of the song. Tell you what. Paul is like the energizer bunny in this song.
Anyway, enjoy.

For you beth. To replace the one you lost. Your fave song. Ignore the popups.
Enjoy

Thank you for In My Life, Gabe. It definitely is my favorite Beatles song. This one sounds a little dated to me now, but still a good one.

Yeah. I do agree. It's not one of their better songs.
So.
What do you think about this one?
