Not strictly C&W but in the genre and it's a piece of great music. BTW, a great movie too.

I'm gonna indulge myself. I like spag westerns and I really enjoy the music of Ennio Morricone. Clint just wouldn't be Clint without M's music.

Why don't you start a movies theme category?

Excellent choice Gabriel.
Ennio era un genio, amico. E mi piace molto la chitarra. Che buon orchestrazione.

Yeah thanks. I like the music. You hear it and you can immediately see Eastwood. He raises his head and gives the bad guys the stare, cheroot clenched between teeth.
Classic.

This is probably a more mainstream C&W song.

I've never heard that song before. I have heard the name nitty gritty dirt band.
Is that what you would term bluegrass, or does bluegrass have more violin in it?
Good choice.

John Prine has mostly carved out a little niche all his own - somewhere between country and folk, sometimes leaning one way, sometimes the other. He's a much better songwriter than singer - a kind of mid-western national treasure, similar to the way Michael Martin Murphy is to the southwestern U. S.. wiki

haha We just have good taste . How do you feel about Neil Gaiman and Ritchie Blackmoor? Van Zandt wrote one of my all time favorite folk songs, but sometimes his material is a little too country for me. I love this one, though.
